Runner Penguin

Along with the Pig Whistle, this is one of my earliest concept of alien animals which were mostly based on Earth's life forms. Runner Penguins stride through the Savannah eating insect like life forms. They're highly protective over their larvae and build nests near water areas so that predators can be ambushed if they approach the nest. If caught red handed, the Runner Penguins will stomp them with their powerful legs. The real Runner Penguins have an armored scale head like a turtle.
