Legendary Pokémon Gen 4

The Instinct Banners (named after the fact that they represent the four natural instincts):

Ovatoad (Ova = Egg + Toad) symbolizes the Maternity instinct. It is a water type that also knows the moves Egg Bomb and Soft boiled. It is the only female of the four and takes care of any orphan it finds. [Spanish Frog]

Pursyro (Pursuit + Pyro) symbolizes the hunting instinct. It is a fire type and ancient peasants used to pray it for a good hunt. In the wild it is constantly chasing after things, often tackling trainers. Of all legendary Pokémon, it's the one that been seen the most often. [Lynx]

Souther (South + Feather) symbolizes the traveling instinct, how for example birds know when to migrate south. It is the only known pure flying type Pokémon, and its location depends on the season. [Loon]

Survice (Survive + Ice) symbolizes the survival instinct. Naturally, that symbol is not obvious, but Survice will do whatever it takes to escape a disaster alive. It is extremely cunning and also has a six sense that allows it to predict disaster. It lives in the Northern hemisphere and is an ice type. Stories say that it escaped Pursyro's jaws by bitting off its own foot and leaving it behind as a distraction.
