This is a work in progress and it’s taking longer than i hoped, but I’m new to acrylic and i guess that’s just the way it goes when learning a new medium.

camera used to take pic (phone) so image isnt that great.

Batman can always pull of that dark demeanor, no matter how ridiculous that outfit looks sometimes. xD

HAH! Why would you be embarrassed to say how long it took? These type of pictures, I can tall, take a lot of effort to makes such smooth edges! My breaking record is around 12 hours.

How did you make the texture of the clouds int eh background? They look nice!

I did the clouds in the typical cloud fashion. I started off by using a dark base color drk purple almost black. I then but a layer of a dark blue to give it some 3 dimension and continued to add lighter shades of blue. After you get the desired shape add some more of the base dark and highlights for accents. Some colors were wet blended on the canvas others were wet on dry. I did more drybrushing then anything for the clouds

Thanks!! im really pleased with the way it came out also. I've done more to it since i uploaded the image. I hope to upload the revised version tomorrow when i have better lighting to take the pic.

That's fantastic!! You put so much detail, you can even see the emblem. I love how the colour and suit contrast. The shadows, are great. I don't care how long this took. It's worth it.
