Eclipse: *knows what's up with Mikenno because of the power of friendship* I know you don't like me rejoining the Night Owls, Mikenno... but... I don't exactly have anywhere else to go... I'm sorry. *knocks on the hideout's door*

Night Owl Thug: *opens it a crack* Yeah? Whadda YOU want?

Eclipse: My friend and I request that we join your gang.

Night Owl Thug: I'd have to talk to the boss about that... hang on a sec. *closes the door*

Eclipse: That guy must be a newbie. He didn't recognize me.

Eclipse: Alright, Mikenno.

The door: *opens. Gyro stands in the doorway, grinning at them both*

Gyro: Well now... here I thought you were gonna be yet another desperate beggar mobian, trying to mooch off of us... but when Horace told me it was 'a hedgehog thing with large ears, and some THING with freakish eyes', ohhh my, did I know EXACTLY who HE was talkin' about... heheh...

Eclipse: Save it, Gyro. We need to join the Night Owls. We can work hard, and provide what we can.

Gyro: I'm still finding it hilarious that after all these years, you've come crawling back to us.

Mikenno: *his ears flatten against his head and he slightly changes his stance, but he decides to stay out of the conversation* ....

Eclipse: Gyro, PLEASE... PLEASE let us join the Night Owls...

Eclipse: Thank you.

Gyro: *steps aside, letting them both in. As Eclipse is about to enter, he whispers into his ear* Don't think I've forgotten about that THING inside you, HEDGEBAT...

Eclipse: ... *walks into the hideout*

Mikenno: *follows him in, still looking somewhat hostile. he speaks in a low whisper that he knows eclipse can hear* ....you know how i feel about your decision, Eclipse. if worst comes to worst, i am getting us BOTH out of here.

Me: BOOP! character idea. thought of it at work, lol. gyro needs a foil. other than Eclipse. you know how every bad-guy group has that one person that isn't like, a heartless bastard? i had a neat idea, and i would like to bring this character in at some point. :3 just so we both have two mains in this rp.

Mikenno: just so you know, if you ever wake up in a random alley. i'd rather live on the streets and kill my pride than my honor.

Eclipse: *snorts* Yeah, yeah. Come on. *leads Mikenno to where Gyro went, inside the base, which was a small warehouse with feux office cubicle walls seperating "room" from "room"* HEY!

Gyro: *in a larger "room", which served as the Avi's office* Yeah? What's up, hot-head?

Eclipse: *shrugs off the nick-name* We need to know where we're going to stay.

Gyro: Bunk 12.

Eclipse: Alright. follow me, Mikenno. *heads off to another "room" where all the bunk-beds were kept. For a gang, it was pretty elaborate*

Me: well, you DID say this would be a good time to introduce new characters and such. i honestly don't know where you're planning to go with this since you're driving this rp, but i'll find a place to put her. do you know any good names for a female Quetzal?

Mikenno: *looks around* ..... how long has this gang been around?

Eclipse: Way over fifty years. *finds the marked bunk-bed* this is... um... pretty much our room. This bunk-bed.

Me: Fluffy? XD Jabeebus, I really don't know. Maggy?

Me: nnneh. she can have a nickname, but her full name needs to sound at least somewhat refined.... i mean, yeah she's in a gang, but she used to be an honorable normal person. who was a Quetzal. which are very very pretty.

Mikenno: heh. surprised they didn't just leave us with a blanket.

Eclipse: This is actually pretty decent compared to most gangs.

Me: UM WELL THEN HANG ON. Risania. Riz for short?

Me: ....have i ever told you how awesome you are? Riz it is. *RHYME* i think i'll bring her in whenever they have like, a meeting or something.

Mikenno: Oh, i can imagine.

Eclipse: I'm saying this out of experience, too.

Me: Well, considering that the Night Owls just welcomed in some new members, one of which being a former "traitor", I would expect a meeting to be held that night. :D

Mikenno: i wasn't disagreeing with you, i know D: *taps his head with one finger* :P

Everyone: *herded to the meeting "room", they sit around a beat up business table*

Gyro: Eh-HEM. We have an important announcement, everyone!

Eclipse: *facepalm, under his breath* ohhh boy...

Gyro: We have two new members among us. I have good news about them, bad news, and more bad news.

Night Owls: BOOOOO!

Gyro: The good news is that these two members are perfectly fit, and able to work without any problem... the BAD news is that THAT means we have two more mouths to feed!

Night Owls: BOOOOOOOOOO!!

Gyro: And the WORSE news is that ONE of these new members happens to be Eclipse the Hedgebat!

Night Owls: *some make loud booing, while others are somewhat confused*

Gyro: Now, now... we're going to make the BOTH of them feel welcome, you understand? I'm sure that in the end, we will ALL be good friends...

Night Owls: *evil snickering*

Eclipse: ugh...

Vasper: *silently sits, and looks at them both, completely terrified, but not of THEM...*

Mikenno: *ears fold back, easily being able to read all the other members' feelings* *in a very low voice* this may not end well...

Riz: *pats vasper on the shoulder reassuringly. she regards the two newcomers with some interest, wondering why some of the members seemed to dislike the hedgebat so much* ....

Me: FYI i skipped wereclipse on purpose. trying to think of something good to post, lol.

Me: oohhh ok. XD

Vasper: *smiles at Riz gratefully*

Eclipse: Yeah, well, they're a freaking GANG... no matter what we do, or who we are, it will NEVER end well.

Gyro: So with that quick little announcement up, we managed to scrounge together enough money to get ourselves enough pizza to feed the entire group - I do hope you all enjoy!

Night Owls: *cheer*

Riz: *smiles back*

Mikenno: well... no use mulling over that now. i guess we get food now.

Eclipse: We need to get in there first, or else the others will dump piles of crack on it.

Everyone: *tidal waves onto the pizza*

Mikenno: Great. Gimme a second. *dives into the tidal wave of peoples and uses his mind-powers to get people to scooch over slightly and he manages to get at the pizza rather quickly*

Riz: *goes to get pizza for herself and Vorace but is obviously having more trouble than Mikki*

Me: you mean Vasper? XD

Vasper: *too really shaken and traumatized to care. He just watches her* ...

Eclipse: Thank you, Mikenno. ^^ *notices the two children there who lacked food* huh... Mikenno, maybe we should get some for them...

Mikenno: *notices Riz struggling* hmm.. you're right. here, hold mine, i'll be right back. *hands Eclipse his Pizza and goes back into the mess of mobians to get at the pizza again.

Eclipse: *holds Mikenno's pizza, and waits for him* :/

Me: so did you figure out why Vasper's all freaked out yet?

Me: has he just been posessed or something?

Mikenno: *comes out of the horde with two more slices of pizza, and taps Riz on the shoulder*

Riz: *still hadn't gotten to the pizza, she whirls around* ??

Mikenno: I saw you were having some trouble. here. *offers her the two slices*

Riz: ... Thanks. *managesa smile, then goes back to Vasper and gives him a pizza*

Mikenno: *returns to eclipse*

Vasper: *when handed the pizza* th-th-thank y-you, Riz... *nibbles at it*

Eclipse: ^^ *eats his own pizza* crappy cardboard, but I guess it was the cheapest stuff Gyro could find.

Mikenno: better than nothing, right? *noms his pizza*

Me: oh btw, Vasper's NOT possessed. Remember, Gyro's still a pedo.

Mikenno: *looks back at the two younger mobians* .....

Eclipse: *his eyes widen, and glow red in anger. He lets out an animalistic snarl* Gyro...!! That... that PEDOPHILE!! That abomination against nature!!

Mikenno: *in an urgent whisper* Eclipse, calm down! Going ballistic now won't help them...!

Eclipse: *angrily* I can't just stand and do nothing! It's sick and wrong! D8<

Mikenno: *through his teeth* but if you try something NOW, you'll get kicked out onto the streets!

Eclipse: *knowing Mikenno is right, he grumbles, and stares angrily at the ground*

Mikenno: *was coming down the hall, as in, HE WAS RIGHT THERE SO THE FILLER WASN'T NECESSARY*

Eclipse: Mikenno. I guess it's time to go.

Mikenno: looks like it. need any goodbyes?

Eclipse: I... I'd rather not. It would hurt, more than anything.

Mikenno: understood.... let's go, then... *turns to head towards the entrance*

Eclipse: *follows Mikenno* ...

*and then they head for the entrance, and they're just about to walk out when...*

Twilight: *goes into the building through the same door they were just about to exit from and nearly bumps into Eclipse* !! .... *you can tell by the look on her face (or the fact that she refuses to look at Eclipse) that she knows about his "removal." and that she is NOT happy.* ......

Mikenno: ! *concerned, he glances between Eclipse and Twilight, hoping that neither of them does something absolutely stupid*

Eclipse: *trying not to freak out* T-Twilight...!

Twilight: *still not looking at him* E-Eclipse, I... I'm sorry I couldn't.... I tried, I really did.... He wouldn't change his mind... *looks up at him, obvious sadness in her eyes* I'm sorry. *goes around them and keeps walking to her original destination, refusing to look back for fear of shedding tears*

Mikenno: D: ......

Eclipse: *stands there, never looking away from the spot where she was standing before she left, eyes, never blinking - until they begin to sting when tears form, and glide down his cheeks* D:> ...

Me: damnit, i feel horrible now XD; aaaaaaagh, why are we so good at torturing our characterssssss?? XD

Twilight: *is gone, out of his life*

Mikenno: ..... *puts a hand on Eclipse's shoulder* ....Come on. we have to go, Eclipse.

Me: Because falcon punch, that's why.

Eclipse: ... *just stands there, trying to steady his shaky breathing*

Mikenno: *is coming down the hall*

Eclipse: *he fillers*

THE NEXT DAY

Eclipse: *as soon as he wakes up, he wishes he hadn't* nnngh...

Eclipse: *and then he... steps out of his room... and waits for... Mikenno...?*

Mikenno: *slightly-larger-than-normal-noms of concern*

*and then they finish their foodstuffs*

Eclipse: *pays his half of the bill*

Mikenno: *pays his*

*and so they go home and I really hope Lightning is there*

Me: i think we should timeskip to the next day, so that it doesn't seem like a totally rash decision on Light's part. he would have thought it over first, and that would make it worse-- especially since Eclipse would have had an extra day to worry/freak out.

Me: weeeellllll ok. :3

THE NEXT DAI

Eclipse: *has been extremely anxious, and worried over the results of Twilight's talk with Lightning*

*Knock-on-Door*

Eclipse: !!! *opens it*

Mikenno: *hustles in and closes the door behind him* Eclipse! *catches himself, and lowers his voice* .... I had to tell you so you wouldn't be caught off guard.... *takes a deep breath* You're getting kicked out.

Eclipse: *his ears fold back, but he shows no other signs of emotion* ... fine. Fine then. If that's what Lightning wants, then so be it.

Mikenno: This isn't right, he SHOUDN'T be kicking you out like this, it's just... *sighs and runs a hand through his quills* not right.

Eclipse: It's his choice as the leader of HN. I've offended him. He has every right to do this. *he is obviously upset, and is having trouble masking it*

Mikenno: *somewhat talking to himseld/thinking out loud* but he... NRRGH. Twilight explained everything to him, the whole situation, and he STILL decides this...? he's been your friend for HOW long?

Eclipse: That collapsed as soon as I slipped up with Twilight. I don't know how, exactly, I'm gonna survive, since I've got no education, and all... but... it's Lightning's choice. I will respect it. *weakly pushes Mikenno out of the way, and walks out of his room*

Mikenno: *follows him out* hey, Eclipse. Don't think you're going out alone.

Eclipse: *gives him a small smile* Thank you, Mikenno. *heads off to wherever Lightning is*

Mikenno: ... *follows him*

Lightning: *is in his office, signing documents and shoot*

Eclipse: *knocks for massive politeness points*

Lightning: *without looking up* come in.

Mikenno: ...i'll wait out here. unless you want me to come in with you?

Eclipse: I'm fine. I'll do it alone. *walks in* Lightning.

Lightning: *glances up* Eclipse. *finishes writing something, then puts his pen down and looks back at Eclipse* I assume you've heard of your... removal?

Eclipse: *flatly* I have. *his finger twitches* I'm not happy with it, but who am I to judge your decision?

Lightning: *deadpan* you should have considered that when you slept with my wife.

Eclipse: *he holds his breath for presicely two seconds before speaking again* You're serious about this. I understand that I've greatly offending you, and even under the cirumstances, I should have behaved more like a friend to you. I'm sorry for any pain that I have caused you, Lightning.

Lightning: *never breaking eye contact, he nods* You have all of today to gather your posessions. Good luck, Eclipse.

Eclipse: *gravely* mm, yes. Good luck, indeed... *turns and leaves the room*

Lightning: *never takes his eyes off Eclipse until the diir closes behind him* ... *sighs, shakes his head, then looks back at the papers on his desk* ..... *puts his pen down and puts a hand on his forehead* too much...

Eclipse: *continues walking to the stairs* I guess it is. Please watch over Haine, and make sure he doesn't become corrupted again, Mikenno. I thought I could help him, but now, I guess someone else has to.

Haine: *a finger twitches, and his eyes slowly open. He sits up, feeling woozy, and odd, because no longer is he controlling someone else's body, but his own. He tests his hand. It works perfectly. He gets up. An unsteadiness. He grips the glass case for support. Finally, the blue echidna speaks. His voice is no longer demonic, and even slightly innocent sounding* ...
