I. LOVE. THIS GAME.
This game is Threads of Fate. The boy I just drew right here happens to be Rue, one of the main protagonists in this wonderful ball of fun (created by SquareSoft, now Square-Enix)
Wonderful game. Totally recommend playing it.
Rue = transforming taciturn man. He can shapeshift into the monsters he defeats. His backstory also happens to be... ehrm... SHADOW-esque.
Rue: where am I? What's my name? Why do I sound like David Humphrey?

Rue: my life is so peaceful! ILU, Claire!
Claire: I have a terminal illness! I mean... uh... nevermind.
A Dude With A Big Hand: RAAAAAH
Rue: I DEFEND! *fights* *fails*
A.D.W.A.B.H.: RAAAAH!
Claire: AAAHH!
Rue: MARIAAAAA!! I mean... CLAAIIIRE!
*from then on, Rue gets continuous flashbacks of when Claire died. He also vowes to (get revenge on humanity) bring her back to life. Somehow.*

This mans/puppets backstory is in no way like Shadows :DIt's amazing how you took a sloppy pixely PS1 model and turned it into this. You did good mam :D
