Dynastie Rising

The cover to the PC game I'm working on, Chousenshi Densetsu: Dynastie Rising. The characters are as following (starting from top-left)

C-Dogg: The S's best friend since the two of them were in Kindergarten, "C-Dogg" has often acted as S's backup or partner in vigilante missions. He is an excellent street brawler, and picked up a bit of Nogan fighting from S. He also seems to have some affinity for using the earth as an advantage in his techniques. Although most of the time he acts as an imbecile, his intellect is at genius level. C-Dogg is a huge sports fan, having played basketball, football, baseball, and ran track throughout his schooling, as well as other sports. He currently works at a sports specialty store called "Sports Junkies".

Years ago, C-Dogg had moved to Montana with his family. He currently attends Montana State University, where he wishes to become a teacher upon graduation. Although he lives so far away, he and S still keep in touch, and he occasionally
comes back to visit. It is on one such visit that he runs into Artue, and, after they realized that they were both best friends of S's, and Artue's predictament had been explained, he joined The S and Artue on their quest.

Ace: The S's younger brother, who goes by "Ace" at times. A high school student with a strange personality; he can go from adoring cute things to a seething, raging ball of anger within a fraction of a second. This anger gets him into trouble a lot, but occasionally, it can be put to good use; when enraged, he is nearly unstoppable in battle. Unfortunately, his threshhold for pain is even lower than his brother's, which is rather low itself.

Ace is currently learning Judo from the man who taught The S his fighting styles outside of Noga, Jerome Earl. Although Ace completely disbelieves his brother's alleged avatar status, he has unwittingly mixed some Nogan techniques into his Judo, making it all the more dangerous. With his weight and Judo knowledge, Ace can stand his ground easily and is almost immovable. Likely because of this, he is immune to lightning, and can seemingly summon it from the heavens.

The S: A pacifist at heart, he has taken to the streets for years as a vigilante in an attempt to clean up the city of crime. He does this by finding crimes in progress, then attempting a citizen's arrest. If the criminal resists in any way, he then subdues them by fighting. Recently, he was able to channel his chi into a visible, very devastating blast known as the Hibado.

Over a decade ago, two volunteer Spanish language instructors came into his classroom and told him he was the resurrected form of the ancient god from their lost religion of Noga. Although he initially disbelieved them, he has eventually come to terms with the fact that he may indeed by the avatar of the great Du Sig. Amongst the evidence is his scattered flashbacks of another life, as well as innately knowning the self-defense style of the people, which was developed by Du Sig himself.

One day while checking his e-mail and wondering why he hasn't spoken to his friend Artue in such a long time, her astral projected form appeared to him, telling him she had been kidnapped. Thus began a sojourn for the two of them to rescue Artue's captured body.

Artue: Artue is a member of an online Ninja Turtles community, through which she had met The S. They were casual friends until S went through a messy breakup with his girlfriend. Artue then became a confidant and personal therapist to him, as he had never experienced such an event. All the while, the stress of the breakup had a strong toll on The S's body, and he began gradually withering away. Artue's friendship and advice had regressed the hold the stress had on him. Declaring she had saved his life, The S announced that Artue was his new best friend.

One summer day in her local library, Artue had been wondering why she hadn't heard from S in a while. In the midst of writing an e-mail, a mysterious green-haired man knocked her out and kidnapped her. Several days later, she awoke to find herself in some sort of a cellar. As she had been reading up on astral projection, she felt she had no other choice than to attempt to use this technique to contact The S for help. After eventually performing the projection, she showed up at his house in the image of her online avatar. She explained her situation to The S, and the two of them set off to recover her physical form.

Artue is a novice in Aikido, but a master of the sai. In her astral form, she is able to utilize powerful magical and chi techniques, including summoning the mythical Japanese Kitsune (fox). Although The S and C-Dogg have been proclaimed co-leaders of Team Chousenshi, Artue is the main character of Dynastie Rising.
