The kind you bake with! Updated mostly for the sake of updated. Summer is nearing its end and I have hardly posted anything yet.
This was originally supposed to be a boy... it looks like a girl now. Obviously. Looks a lot like a girl. There is a story behind that. So it's a boy to me, but to you it can be whatever gender you'd like it to be.
I was at the Hillside musical festival thinger (volunteering and stuch... twelve straight hours in the hospitality tent, I nearly died... haha, I'm so screwed when I actually have to work for a living) and I was drawing while listening to the Spoken Word. You know, where the stereotypical people in there sunglasses artist hats and black turtle necks go and stand and read their poetry and some random guy with a drum in the background sets the mood... and they say something weird like "Whisper stole my cheese" and everyone is like "yeah that is so deep man."
Run on sentence much? : D
Anyway this was inspired by a line some lady sad. I can't remember it, but I know it said something about prostitues and the poem was about buisnesses or politics or something. Anyway, so this drawing started as a really prostitue-y boy, then after some conversation with Sarah we decided it was a crossdressing prostitue-y boy, then it was a boy supposed to be wearing a pretty frilly dress, then it kinda ended up looking like a schoolgirly... schoolgirl.
Actually, I think it could be the pose that made him look so feminine in the beginning, because I have another picture on my computor of a cat person (boy who looks like girl) in almost the same pose that I actually haven't added to my gallery because it looks too girly but has no chesty bits. Plus my scanner is craptacular at picking up pencil crayon. =_=
