I wish there was a way to cross-reference.
Anyway, I just got back from a con, which gave me itchy fingers, and watched Spirited Away, which put dragons in my head.
I'm not sure what it says about me that the dragon is about to eat the phoenix.
I'm not crazy about the background, but that's what happened when you change your mind halfway through freehanding it. I'm really pleased with the drawing itself, though, and the colors of the phoenix and dragon. Unfortunately some of the subtler colors of the dragon don't really show up in the scan.

Beautiful. The colours are gorgeous, and I love the way their bodies are entwined and the Dragon's wings envelop the Phoenix's. Nice work *faves*
