Man of my Nightmares

Were you expecting Freddy Krueger with that title? :P

For my Artworks class at uni we've to do a project based on pretty much anything we want to do. I'm going to do a graphic novel based on this character who appeared in a nightmare I had last year (I always write down my dreams if I can remember them. They make good art and story fodder, remember that!)

I don't know exactly who or what this person is, nor do I know his name. When I first dreamed of him, I always referred to him as "It", because in my dream, I saw myself painfully morphing into this... creature. A girl morphing into a male.. yeeks!! Then I started just calling him "Nightmare" but I'm currently working on giving him a better name. I suppose it'll reveal itself in time. I don't know what his face and fingers are all about. Who can fathom out dreams anyway? I certainly can't :/
