Finished!

This took a little longer to do than I anticipated. I had to go over the background again because it was too faint, and let me tell you, colouring around all those little bubbles was a pain. Also, the shadows under the stones and rocks looks a bit muddy because it wasn't until long after I coloured the lake bed did I realise that I forgot to consider shadows ^^' Woops.

WHOA!!!!! That attention to the blue light effects in the water. I ADORE water pictures, especially when there is a specific light source. THe position and adorable face of the Totadile is nice!

Thanks so much. I achieved the light effect by using the edge of my rubber with a ruler.

He isn't really searching for food or anything, as such. Just taking a leisurely swim in a lake.

Awesome! I especially like the shadows of the other pokemon! They're magikarp, horsea, and goldeen, right? Totodile is my fave starter pokemon from the Gold/Silver games! *faves*

Wow! This looks awesome! And you didn't make it with a computer program, but with colored pencils! That's effing amazing.

But I've used coloured pencils lots of times before, only this time I've returned to my rendering technique rather than trying to do some kind of cel-shading with them.

I was getting bored with staring at a computer screen as I worked :P
