Ok, I've properly recovered now.

These are two of the main characters from French film A Monkey's Tale, which I was pleased to find that it'd been uploaded on YouTube. It's not the best film ever, but worth a look, I reckon.

The younger monkey at the top is Kom, a curious, irrepressible little show-off. The monkey below is his more sensible older brother, Gavin. They're both members of the tree-top dwelling Woonko tribe of monkeys, who fear that they'll fall into the hands of demons if they ever fall from the trees.

I'm a bit curious as to why the film is called A Monkey's Tale when none of them have tails. Wouldn't that make them apes? Anyway, these doodles are copied from various stills of the film. If you want to see the movie, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8_P4iTRJU0 The audio is a bit dodgy though, so mind that volume!

RosendahlHumanoid monkey with earrings is priceless!

As I am not a master on the drawings of monkeys, I can say that this is nice and simple, and easy to take in. Sometimes you just need a little doodle.

TrissI like trying out different styles. Sometimes the anatomy threw me off a bit, and I had to remind myself that monkey's have longer arms than us!

RosendahlYeah, could imagine that would tinker a bit with what we are more used to. But of course, I guess it's the bit of more complicated drawings, that makes for a wider ability of drawing.

luckylace222Something about them are somewhat more humanistic than I thought! Love the art style you gave them; they are somewhat attractive monkeys! MONKEYS!

TrissI didn't come up with the art style, I just made some copy-doodles from the movie :P

If you think these guys are humanistic, you should watch the film. The neighbouring Lankoo tribe are a lot more human like!
