Mythological Monster Project

In my reading class we're getting ready to start reading about mythology and for our homework assignment we were supposed to come up with a mythological creature and write about it. This um..... beast is called a Unus Cornuta Lupus which means " one- horned wolf" in Latin. So pretty much it's a dark, evil-looking uni-wolf XD. I'm not sure if this idea has already been taken so if you've seen this type of creature before please tell me.
