I saw Speed Racer on Sunday and I have to say... THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A MOVIE! Every actor was in character and the race scenes left me at the edge of my seat. A kid sitting in front of me was yelling "Go Speed Go!" lol.
I drew Speed here with the combined style of the original cartoon and the influence of the actor Emille Hirsch who played him.

OMGOMGOMG Speed Racer! ='D Oh lord, I'm going to go see that this weekend. @.@ I can't wait! I was only able to watch three or four episodes of it as a kid 'cause we had those on tape, but I was so obsessed . . . I knew the whole theme song and everything. XDDD I love the original, 'cause it was so classic, and I really adore your version of him. =3 Your style, as always, is amazing. ^^ As is your coloring. Thanks for this! ^^ Awesome job!

That's so cool!!! A nice touch in adding the difference between the past and present. Must see movie...lol. As always, this is an awesome job!
