Since I got pretty close with NYAF's mascot contest last year with a spot as a finalist I'm now trying my luck at two Canadian cons. Right now I have a shot at one of my mascot entries being the Judge's Choice winner for Anime Evolution's contest and this drawing is my entry for Ai-Kon's mascot contest.
The only guideline was that she had to have pink hair and blue eyes and that the entry had to subtly incorporate the number 10 without drawing attention away from the mascot. She is not only holding up the number 10, she also has 10 beads in her earrings, 10 stripes in her sweater, and 10 straps on her boots :)
