Standing Still

Alas, technology never ceases to annoy me. Just when I think I have a good scanner, I do a marker drawing and it kills it completely. But, what can you do?<br />

I just hope as you view this, you can understand that it looks 3 times better in person. ^^; The colours are much richer, and Gackt's (the guy on the right) shirt is really a lovely deep indigo, instead of a blue. You get the point I'm sure. I'm not the first person to have this happen to them.<br />

Gackt (right) and Hyde (left) together in a loving sort of embrace. Yes, this is shonen-ai (male homosexual situation), and if you don't like it, I really don't care. I respect your opinion, but I don't appreciate comments about how Hyde should be a girl instead, or how it's gross. That's rude you know. However, you are an avid fan, I don't mind if you tell me. :D<br />

The title of this piece came from the Jewel song, "Standing Still". I can see the chorus lyrics of the song applying to this piece, thus became the title. <br />

This is a sort of inspiration/request piece that I'm entering in a contest. I don't really care if I win, I just felt the need to do this piece, and I'm glad it did. I'm rather happy with it.<br />

I do need more markers though. I lack the colours I need sometimes.<br />
