This is a beautiful and emotional picture. the tone and shading as well as the general layout of the drawing creates (as Celevita said) an lonely atmospere and the pain of losing/missing someone and praying for them to come back home.

Yey! I am the first to comment! here we go....

I love the dark light effect and the shading. When I looked at this picture I became sad, it spoke of loneless and a stupid thing called war. I hate war and I agree with you Let them all come home safely!
