When your magic fails

Ok, this is a centaur btw. his name is Sydle (si-dle, i as in pie lol XD) Um, i'm not sure i like his face all that much. I"m trying to improve on drawing human faces side on. i'm much better then i used to be, but still, not quite satisfied yet. this was a bit of an experiment with colour and effects. i like the grass. erm...i'm not sure what Sydle is holding, but it looks like some kind of magical object. Mum reakoned he looked 'forlorn' as if his magic wasn't working so yeah, hence the title. i had fun drawing him, soyou'll probly see more of him. i'm currently developing a wolf centaur sort of thing. his name is Lomyn (Lo-mine) yup, well comments be as welcome as a moudly caramelised onion XD !
