Human Tigatron:
I slowly remove her clothes, with my fingers I slowly feel her smooth creamy tan skin and she does the same to me. I put my arms around her and press her perfectly toned body against mine and I kiss those pouty soft sweet lips of hers. We have made love many times, even before we were married, but with her, it always feels like the first time. This woman fell in love with me and I didn’t see it at first because I was unfamiliar with love, this kind of love. But being the kind of woman that Airazor is, I came to love her with all my heart. I felt that I had found a kindred sprite and that nothing could keep us apart. Being light-years away in outer space we remained together, hand in hand. Even death could not separate us.

Tigatron and Airazor from the 90s CGI TV show Beast Wars that aired on Fox in the mornings, but in human form of course. They were my favorite characters and couple, I just wish we could have seen more of them. We could have gotten a better love story with them because the other so-called couple that went on in Beast Wars was a joke.


A couple that makes Sense

The 2016 story "Dawn of the Predacus" later featured Airazor as part of an Autobot/Maximal unit led by her future love interest, Tigatron, who approached the Decepticon/Predacon unit led by the future Megatron to offer him a ceasefire. Megatron refused and ordered his forces to attack, forcing Airazor to engage Terrorsaur and Waspinator in battle. She then convinced Tigatron to leave and join the Maximal Council so that they could form Magnaboss while she continued the fight. When the actions of the Tripredacus Council resulted in many of Cybertron's inhabitants being turned into protoforms, Airazor was among those affected and placed in a stasis pod in the hopes that she could eventually be awakened.

What makes a couple work is when they have things in common and they can relate to each other. They got along, they worked together very well, they were nice, funny, calm and quiet for the most part, more in tune with their beast modes and nature than the others.

Airazor is able to see that Tigatron is a very a kind, generous and thoughtful person who even carried her on his back when she was injured.

Spider's Game
Airazor starts having deep feelings for Tigatron when she says
Airazor: "You might need backup."
Tigatron: "I hunt better, alone." (Tigatron leaves)
Airazor: (talking to herself but referring to Tigatron) "Or sometimes you can be too alone."
 
When I first saw that scene... I became a Tigatron/Airazor fan right there because there characters matched, they made sense. I liked Tigatron from the start, he was the loner, the outsider of the group, and he was pretty much the Reconnaissance of the team. The way he acted and talked reminded me of an American Indian warrior and I've always loved those types of characters.
 
I had yet to like Airazor but I was starting too and I loved the fact that since she was the first and the only "female Maximal" in Beast Wars, she fell in love with my favorite character. I loved that Airazor was not the typically stereotype female which is either the hardcore dog who takes forever to get along with anybody or the spunky hyper female who acts like a little child and never shuts-up. Japanese anime seems to have nothing but these types of female characters.
 
In that same episode Tigatron is badly beaten but he gets fully repaired back at the base. But because he prefers the wild he goes to leave, but Airazor wants to see him again, so she makes a suggestion.
Airazor: "But it wouldn’t hurt to visit us now and then would it?"
Tigatron: "No, I don’t suppose it would. Farewell my friends."
Airazor looks a little sad when he leaves but then she slimes. That pretty much showed that Airazor wanted to be with him.

Other Visits, Part 1
Tigatron (referring to both the planet and Airazor) "I'd forgotten what beauty this planet once offered."
Later on in the series Tigatron and Airazor look at each with smiles on their faces and hold hands and move to kiss each other.
At that moment I knew that they both came to love each other.
 
But then there both grabbed by alien branches and both scream each other's names and reach out for each other.
Airazor: "Tigatron!"
Tigatron: "Airazor!"
Tigatron: "Wherever you go, my spark shall find yours!"
Airazor: "And mine… yours!"

They loved each other so much that when they were seen again in episode
Other Victories
Somewhere in deep space in some type of suspended animation, they're still holding hands. Even when they were just sparks they were still together holding hands.

At one point in the Manga storyline, Airazor's spark became separated from her body and became host to a malevolent force. The evil Airazor did battle with Tigatron, who did not want to fight the robot he loved. With no other option, Tigatron gave the evil Airazor one of his katana's and knelt down. As the evil Airazor struck him with the sword, the ''real'' Airazor's spark entered Tigatron's body. In cyber space, the two embraced and vowed never to be apart again. As their sparks merged, they became Tigerhawk.

I personal hate this type of manga artwork and writing, it might be suited for some, but not with this. When it comes to Japanese trying to write and draw western characters (Beast Wars was created in Canada) that don't fall into their category of storytelling and artwork... it never turns out right. Airazor looks like she's 6 years old and that's something that always happens, characters will end up looking like they haven't even hit puberty. The age of consent in Japan is 13... and that's just wrong, the developing mind of a child doesn't change just because another culture sees it differently, it's still statutory rape.

Her personality was destroyed, no longer was she resembling her tough, tomboy-ish Western characterization. Since Japanese entertainment for young boys apparently does not include female warrior characters in Transformers (Arcee was made a secretary in the original G1 manga), Airazor was reduced to a useless character with a subservient and single-minded personality.

In Japanese manga and anime stories, males always end up being either nutcases, emotionless assholes or clueless morons, females are either hardcore doges, annoying spunky hyper idiots or the boring houseplant. Why do Japanese anime/manga writers keep repeating this type of characterizations???? Easterners and Westerners can't interpret the other's stories and characters, Hollywood films and Marvel comics have tried... and failed.

In the comics before the Beast Wars took place, Tigatron was known as Unit 2 and Airazor was known as Wing Saber in
Dawn of Future's Past

The scene has them meeting for the very first time and it seemed to be predicting there future that they were going to be a couple.

This picture of them is how I would see them in human form. To me they would have American Indian features such as skin color and hairstyle and maybe even a little bit of the clothing, although for Tigatron his hair would be long and white and have a few black tiger stripes on his body to show the white tiger side of him. Since Airazor’s beast mode was a falcon, she has two feathers in her hair to show that side of her. This would have to be the first human form of these two kissing that I know of.

American Indians
For me the reasons as to why they would be American Indians would be because the way their characters were, they both loved and respected the Earth and all life, they both saw the Earth as there birth world and Tigatron very much fought to protect it and I’m just very much reminded of American Indians. After being destroyed in the form of Tigerhawk, the Vok brought him and Airazor back as Transmetals in the comic book and Tigatron shouted

Tigatron: "Once again, I am one with this planet. And yet more for I feel now one with the very cosmos itself!"
 
I've wanted to draw this couple and draw an American Indian couple for a while and here I can do both.


A very small Fan base
It's such a shame that there isn't that much fan art of these two. There is more fan fiction of these two... but only so much and not that many write their personalities correctly... some don't even try to. They were the first Beast Wars couple and the most in love but these two characters were also one of the most ignored, by the writers of the show itself and by most of the fans to the point where despite everything that was shown in the TV show and in the comic books... some people pair them up with others... truly pitiful. Don't give me that anyone can write what he or she wants to crap... yes of course, but these are people who think that it's possible. You have to call those couples what they are, which is slash... slash shoot. Which means... never is and never was going to happen. They see an opposite attract couple crap going on the show and they somehow think that can work again......... well no it can't.

If we're going to take this show, these characters, stories and plots seriously, as almost everybody does with every type of fiction (movies, TV, radio, books, comic books, video games, sports and so on), then we need to take this seriously. Hell the people who are complaining about it are taking it seriously. People who favor slash shoot parings… they never come up with anything on why they work, no reasons… nothing. Because there are none, whenever they do come up with something… its just fracking nonsense.

Anybody saying that these two were forced or thrown together (retards at livejounarl) likes to ignore what actually happen in the show and makeup whatever they can or state nothing on why that is. I'll list the episodes and what was said

The Trigger, Part 2
Airazor first saw Tigatron’s kind and gentle way
Tigatron: "Lie still. You've been hit. Your beast mode will make repairs but it will take time."
Airazor: "But Blackarachnia and Scorpinok, oh."
Tigatron: "I intercepted one of Scorpinok's cyberbees. I was able to reprogram it while you were unconscious. With luck it should reach the Maximal base right about now."
 
Tigatron: "We should move... how are you feeling?"
Airazor: "Better. Still thrashed... (grunts) ...can't fly."
Tigatron: "In that case, the lady shall ride a tiger."
They're both in Beast mode and she sits on his back

And how he feels about all life.
Tigatron: "We were given a paradise! All we had to do was live there in peace! But we proved unworthy. And the paradise is no more."

It's shown that Airazor has feelings for Tigatorn but at that time, we didn't know if he does.

In episode
Coming of the Fuzors, Part 1
Tigatorn shows how nice and polite he is to her when he says
Tigatron: "That's what Airazor and I are going to find out. After you my lady."

Other Visits Part 1
We see them holding hands and about to kiss. So I fail to see how they were thrown or forced together when one simple looks at what happen. Now like I said, they were put together because there characters matched, they could relate and get along with each other. So it was very much in-character for them to be together, they were the obviously couple. Although when you're bias against something like this, then you're not going to be able to see this or understand any of it.

Now when you have two characters that are on the opposite sides that think and look at things very differently like Blackarachnia and Silverbolt… then they are not, or they didn't just come together… they were thrown and forced together very idiotically. It's the couple that was phony and didn't make any sense… not until Beast Machines when Silverbolt "grew up".

I also truly don't get why some people hate these characters. Just because they were nice, friendly, loved nature and all living things, wanted peace and they were also pretty good fighters……… these are reasons to hate fictional characters????? Tigatron showed more personality, character development and growth than almost anyone on the show. But for some reason it's the characters that are one-dimensional, one-noted and are nothing more than cardboard cutouts… these are the characters that are liked???? When having a huge group of characters, they can't all act the same. Any writer or anybody with a fracking brain will tell you that.
 
The Beast Wars fan base is another I don't like at all. It's a fan base that does nothing but whine and complain about the most idiotic things. Now I of course have a few complaints about the show but it’s nowhere near there’s or as childish.


Misspelling
There's something I've notice… some people for some reason seem to spell Airazor's name with two r's after the i or with a capital R, as if it's two words......... even though it's never been officially spelled like that anywhere.

It's not even spelled like that in other languages. Why some people do that… is something I don't get. Then again there are a lot of bad spellers.
 

Fan fiction and Fanart
I know that finding fan fiction, fan art and fan music videos of Tigatron/Airazor is not easy, this is all I could find at the moment. Stories in which the writer tries to stay accurate to the characters. There were a few other stories I found, but they had nothing but out-of-character moments to the point of being idiotic and OC love triangles...

Final Thoughts
That's all I've been able to find across the web of them being a couple and finding those links was not easy. Everyone else flat out ignores everything they went through and what they said to each other. Instead they just come up with ever-single excuse on why they don't work, or they put them with other characters or create there little perfect OC Mary Sue. Apparently there's something so wrong about these two being together... what that is... I have no idea because nobody questions it and nobody calls them out on their bullshoot.
