That's me. And if you can't make heads or tails of what all that stuff says, I'll put it here.
"My name is Jessie. I was born on May 18th, 1991. I am a Kanyenkehaka woman in spirit, and a Kanyenkehaka girl in body. I will question everything that comes out of your mouth, more or less. I will not holf my tongue so others will feel superior. I will not allow myself to become a slave to the ideas of a white person. I will remain a "red woman" until the end of my days and forever more. I will not judge on appearances alone. I don't "look indian". I am not "indian". I am Jessie Hill, Kanyenkehaka Onkwehonwe of the Okwaho clan. I will not be silenced."

*EDIT* Just so everyone understands, I did not intend to appear racist or anything. "White man" was what came out, and originally I meant to put European, but that's not what I was trying to say in the long run. I was speaking of the type of people who've been trying to change my own people, to morph them into people we aren't meant to be, the kind of people from way-back when...I'm far from racist, but I suppose I'm not the good at expressing myself "verbally" at all...

Hello, well i've read this and i've read your profile. I'd just like to say one thing. If you do not wish to be referred to as a native american and whatever shoot there is else, and its all tools of the govt. Then why do you mention "white people" in there?Its all the same so your just being hypocrytical. I'm not judging you, i'm just asking an honest question beacuse it sounds like you have a haterid for everyone but your race. And i say that lightly beacuse i'm a mud so don't go calling me a rasicst. I'm one of the most accepting people you'll find but letters like this disturb me a great deal. The self portrait is beautiful, you've got great skill for your age and i'm glad you like your ansecstory, but you don't have to bash others. Thats all i'm saying.
