A young dragon was plagued with misfortune since hatching. She was so unlucky, she got caught in the middle of a mating battle. She was so unlucky, that the other dragons were surprised she found a mate. He pasted away before she laid her egg. Misfortune struck at midnight a year later, while she was hunting. Lightning almost struck her. She flew back to her nest, hoping that she would be safe. What she saw next, made her wish she had been hit. A rat had got into the nest and eaten her only egg. She cried out in pain and misery because of her wretched luck.
So sad, so sorrowful. And I hate the way the nest turned out.
