Young girl crying

Here's a drawing I drew not too long ago, and I really like it, I even made up a story about this little girl ^^

This girl is about 8-10 years old, here's what I imagine:

It's late evening and the young girl was lying in her bed almost sleeping, when a high thump wakes her up. Wearing her fathers oversized t-shirt she slowly made her way to the kitchen and found her mother sitting by the table, crying. When the small girl approached the mother, she turned her head, only to reveal a large bruise where she had been hit.
A high roar makes the little girl run outside the house where the father had just started the car and as the headlights hit her, a tear slowly runs down her cheek.

Well, that's just my thoughts but i'd like to hear your opinion.
