ok here's the story it starts with her writing in her journal

Well that was a great ride. Just me and Sunburst on the beach going as fast as we can. It's great out here and best part NO parents YES! So right now i'm sitting on a rock that looks out over the ocean, it's almost sunset I love the sunset in the ocean it's so beautiful like magic.
Ok that's weird there' is a young boy running on the beach don't see that to often.

"Hello" Raven said from her perch
"He-Hello. Wha-What are you doing ou-out here?" a boy with dark brown hair said coming to a stop and leaning on the rock.
"Well my father does own this land so... Wait what are you doing here WOLFCLAN!"(not part of the story but thwolf clan are very evil biunty hunters who kill and capture elves) Raven said accusingly.
"Well your no better MAGIC WIELDER!" the boy retorted at her
Raven just winked and said, "Thanks I take that as a complement." the boy was confused as he thought 'she's awfully cheery for someone with magic'
"I don't understand, why would you take it like that most with magic would ether run because they had been found out or they would retaliate with their magic."

"Well unlike most i'm proud of what I am. What about you, are you proud of what you are?" Raven asked as the boy climbed up on to the rock.
"I don't know i mean I was always taught that mages were evil and were meant to be rid of but..." he said looking out over the ocean.
"Oh... Well i'm defiantly NOT evil, I want to help people with my magic... I want to be a Ranger." Raven said looking at him. She decided he was ok when she saw pale red around him meaning he is sincere.( she can see what people are feeling by the color of the light )
