story

Slowly opening it's eyes, and looking around at the room, it saw people and shiny rocks. Where am I? It thought, And more impotently Who am I?
"It's awake. Good, very good." one of the people said. the creature turned toward the voice quickly startling the man.
"It's OK. I'm not going to hurt you." the man said holding up its hands. He says that but how do I know that its true? Sitting up and realizing that it had something on it's back he turned his head. WINGS!? Why do i have wings? If i remember correctly I'm a cheetah, and cheetahs don't have wings, right?
"Your probably confused. Don't worry it's alright. Those are the wings of a hawk, we made them bigger and gave them to you. try to move them... good see they are just another part of you."
"We shouldn't be talking to it you know." another man said.
"I think we should give him a name." a female suggested
"He has one; experiment 345. That's all there is to it."
"No, a real name, like Jack, Tyler, or something like that."
"Whatever do what you want." the second man left.
"Well what do you think, Slick? you want to be called something else?" the first man ask.
"Well you did just call him Slick."
"Yes but I call every- Oh yes your right, Slick it is." For some reason i like that. Yes, yes call me Slick.
"I think he likes it seeing how he's hopping around like that."
