Vinar spirit fox

This is Vinar, he's an eight tailed elemental (ice) fox. i tried to give him a mischievous grin I'm not sure if it worked or if he just looks like a creeper. I use him in role plays along with his buddy Filtai, who I haven't finished drawing yet.

On an artistic note....I HATE HIS SHOULDERS!!!! I kept erasing and redrawing them for like half an hour and no matter what I did they just wouldn't look right so I said screw it and left it like it is now. And for some reason he looks more mouse-ish to me than fox-ish. I was trying something new with how I did the hair and I think it turned out nicely, I also adjusted how I shaded the skin a bit from how I normally shade and again I like how it came out. But if anyone would care to tell me how to make it better please share.
