First Sight

Well, one day my brain decided to say, "Draw Ryou activating the ring for the first time!" So I tried. But then I discovered that I can't draw little kids for crap, so I decided to take a scene directly from the manga and re-illustrate that instead. This is the scene from manga 6 where Bakura makes his first 'appearence', hence the title.

I don't know what kind of face I would make if a spirit suddenly popped out of my necklace, but it'd probably be similar to Ryou's up there. :P I'm not...entirely happy with this piece. It's something about Ryou's face and head shape. But...ah well. I like how the little shadow realm cloud came out.
