superb lyrebird

hehe... Lovely! LOL you can see some kind of book behind it! I almost never use colored pencils as well, but when I upload a pic I had to do in colored pencils for the first time in forever, the coloring is jagged, uneven, and, overall, horrible. However, your coloring looks rather neat and organized ^^ Of the bird, I muchly like the way you did the face and feathers, but the legs and tailfeathers are also wonderful too! Your plantlife is very realistic and pretty ^^ I found a bird book in my library with every kind of bird ever and some of them were so magnificent and pretty, I planned to chack out the book and draw each of my chars as a different species of beautiful bird that suited them the best. Unfortunately, I couldn't check out the book cos everyone in the school was doing a monstrous research paper, I didn't find the book when I was finished, cos it was, like, out 24/7 for some reason, then I graduated from that school LOLOL! An unlikely turn of events, but I guess God doesn't want me to draw my characters as birds. I can live with that ^^

what a pity! Maybe you can search nice pics of tropical bird on internet. I recommend you to use wikipedia.

You're welcome! And nah, I already have way too much I wasnt to draw instead. The book was pretty perfect cos it had sixteen distinct catagories of bird, like owl and such. And I had 15 chars, so I could pick one from a different group for everyone and still have room if I didn't like one particular group. I get inspired easily though XDD! It would have been about the same ammount of inspiratin if it was a book of plants LOLOL!
