Yeah, Inuyasha has dog ears and Sesshy (Sesshoumaru) has elf ears because Inu's a half-demon and Sesshy's a full one. Sesshy and Inu are brothers. Sesshy's parents were both demon while Inu's mother was a human. They both have the same father. Inu is only half demon, hence the more human looks.
