I drew this after rewatching my Digimon tapes I recorded when I was 12. His pose reminded me of me when I was lying in the school's sick room. I was on my stomach, dizzy, with one of my arms hanging over the edge. (And I just realized I drew this picture in reverse. *smacks forehead*) What landed me there? It's a pretty long story but if you're curious, read on...
In real life I cannot run. Period. You see, I have a pinched nerve in my lower back as a result of an injury. Here's the painful story: I fell face first down the stairs a few years ago. (I'm so clumsy. =.-') I think I accidently overshot the first step, and I couldn't regain my footing. But now that I think about it, I was told I went and accidently propelled myself higher when I made contact with one of the steps, and happened to be outstretching my leg. It's what made my nerve pinch! X(
At least I didn't go into a coma when I hit the floor finally. Heck, I was concious the entire time! The teachers crowded around me like vultures, and I was carried to the school nurse for my bleeding nose, and aching back. And it's not as bad as you think. There were only thirty steps on those stairs. *quiet* I'm getting butterflies in my stomach just remembering.

And yes, I had one of my friends take my things and open doors, but that was only during school. >< The elevator was cheap and made me feel sick when it stopped. I think I would have preferred tackling the stairs! O.O And of course, oh sweet irony, my computer is located downstairs, ergo, DOWN THE STAIRS. Need I say more?

Emotion is from the heart. It's something you feel with every ounce of yourself, and words is only one way to shape it into something that humans can see. ^^ Ahaha, I'm being deep again, aren't I? *shuffles shyly* And no, it was not cheesy. It's rational. But sometimes, it's best not to be rational and follow your heart instead.
Now that. THAT was cheesy. >< Aw, Ken... *pats him and hugs you for an emotional job well done*

I wish I only had to be on crutches for two weeks.. I was stuck with them for five months. *twitches, remembering when I slipped on the wet floor in the hallway* Crutches have poor traction! O.O
You didn't have a teacher to hold your books and open the doors for you, or an elevator? (>< I'm beginning to sound mollycoddled...)
And, yeah. The world is a sad place. But why stare into the unseeable darkness when you can look into the warm light? .... That sounded so cheesy. *runs hands down face tormentedly* Why can I not write deep and emotional things? (Argh, gotta go. I'm sitting on an ice pack right now and I'm freezing! x.x)

I can't believe so many people commented before I did! ><
Anyway...I love this pic so much! ^^ The title alone almost made me, yes, cry, but then the next page loaded and I was like "Wow!". The pose is just so significative and the intention powerful. Yes, I'm paraphrasing, but it's good paraphrasing!
Aw, poor Ken, though... *pats him* To live in a world where our cries do not reach even the kindest of ears; cruel providence, forsaken by creation and Man; let me cry, let me cry alone where no one can hear me...I cry without sound...please...let me cry...
The world is a sad place indeed. *sighs*
I tore the ligament in my right ankle last year. I slipped during gym class and had to go around in crutches for two weeks! *shivers at the unpleasant memories* Stairs and doors shall forever remain my sworn enemies...

THis is really cool!! I like it. You kinda remind me of me. I tripped down the stairs at least four times. It wasn't as bad as when I tripped in the mud and twisted my ankle. Didn't even go to the doctor. And then this other time i tripped and hit my hip on the parking lot side. I had a bruise for a month. And then i punched the tv and now my knuckle hurts sometimes. Then i smacked my hand on the side of the fridge. I'm accident prone. LOVE THE PICCY SO MUCH!!! I'm gonna add it to my favs.

You sprained your arm once?! No, you poor thing! *hugs you*
Actually, I didn't feel much pain after I fell down the stairs... I was too dazed and confused to really notice. And I fell asleep (or maybe I passed out?) soon after I got to the sick room.
But at least I get to have massage therapy at least once every month now! :P Free Health Care. Wahoo!

About when I was young(Forgot how old) someone grabbed me by the hands and pulled me up, causing the small muscles that hold your joint and bone to stay together in my arm to break in my left arm.
And now I'm still affected by all of that >.< Before that I already dislocated my arm during vacation. (Two reason why I have random pain in my arm)
Anyways..Sorry for rambling this much ^_^;;
