I'm just kidding. Though, I have so much to say that you probably would rather have that instead.

Death, I swear to heaven and below that I am in no way at all hitting on you with this. I'm just stating how I feel and how things are.

For starters, I love the background. Sweet and simple. I like that ^^

Congratulations on no reference. It looks AWESOME ^^ I will reach that point someday.

I luvs the pose. It screams egotist at me, no offense Death.

The outfit is very unique. Me likes.

I likes the different colors. They all go together really well.

I love his expression. Looks just like him if you ask me.

I love his hair too. Beautiful shading, coloring, style, etc.

His scythe is so kool. For some reason, I can't draw them to save my life.

Everything about him just screams "Death" and TOTALLY brings out part of his personality (since he's a little personality indecisive). Awesome character in it.

Okay, since I'm your best friend and I love you, I'm going to be a little mean to you, 'keday? I don't mean to be, but this is going to bug me if I don't.

I'm going to try to be as nice as I can while still getting my point across and trying not to sound hypocritical.

The colors are really kool and really fit together and all, but I'm sorry, it sucks. The hair and eyes are fine; ignore them and the background for a moment. The coloring is very unclean and the lines are a little funny. There is only shading in the hair and on three spots on the skin.

My advice: clean up the coloring so there aren't any white spots because that really looks crappy, no offense. If you clean up the coloring, the lines should look relatively okay though it'd be better if you outlined on the computer (but you don't have to, I won't make you, just a suggestion). Add a little more shading to it (I'm still working on that so I won't tell you exactly how to do it 'cause I'm sure you know how) to give the picture a little more depth. Some form of shading, reflection, or lighting on the scythe blade would look really kool, but you don't have to.

Keep in mind that these are critiques and suggestions/advice. You don't have to do anything about any of that if you don't want to.

Regardless of all that, I love it. You did an awesome job and I'm still jealous of your mad skillz. Hopefully, I'll eventually reach that point. After all, practice makes perfect.
