Like a ripple on water

you thinks so :3 this is one of my older peices of art so i think the nose can't really be compared to natsuki takaya's art noses XD, but hair and eyes are very much my specialty but since this is an older peice, i was a manga noob and colour pro, my art now (putting some up very soon) i think is much better ^.^

thats the hair colour in the book, and the book is the real him to me because shi-kun is very cruel and evil and pretends to be a complete and utter idiot, trust me he's not and its that little peice of evil, draws me towards him, and his is only textured at the begining of the strands and downwards and thanks the puppy dog eyes are to hide, his evil curse, oh and i know all of fuits basket now aka spoilers

hehe... OIC. He isn't cruel at all in the anime. But oh wells. I'm not much for being obsessed with anime, I just like to draw it.

LOL sorry, I don't read many manga ^^' But I uber likes the hair! Yush, the way it's highlighted and shaded and stuffs. Mostly I like his eyes, they're quite nice. I lurve the shading and highlighting on the green ummm jacket or whatever it is. Maybe it's a kimono. I have a light green/blue kimono ^^ Anyways, the bg is neat cos it really looks kind of like a ripple.

he's out of a manga called fruits basket although his hair is black its usually coloured grey in the book, the jacket is a kimono, i have a gold one with vine patterns on :) thank you so much for the compliments, it figures that in high school he was descibed as a ripple on water and was dumped a month later

hehe... That's why I wasn't sure of who he was. I'm use to Shigure having black hair. Oh wells. Yeah, I liked him, he was funny ^^ I didn't read the manga, but I did see the anime. Do you do requests? See, I'm the year of the horse. And the horse is the ONLY one that they didn't put in the anime. I hear that it's some lady. If you could draw the year of the horse lady, I would appreciate it ^^ I've just never seen her. If not, that's okie.

lol Shigure going all puppy dog eyes, how fitting XP Very cute though, makes me like him more than I ever really have ^^ The hair shading is really nice but it doesn't make a lot of sense for it to only be at the bottom since that makes the texture inconsistent. Other than that the hair looks really good though, especially the lighting on the lower parts. Isn't his hair darker than that though? The eyes are really really pretty and the little dog chibis are cute :D cool bg too
