<b><u>Sayden's background</b></u><br />
ok, here's the deal; in my story i figure that demons are born by the suffering of an angel. They are therefore reincarnations of pain and thus live miserably-- a tortured life, knowing nothing but pain. Creating pain and enduring pain. The demons hold the angels in contempt for this, as well as the rest of the world-- for it is at their hands that the angels suffer. So how do angels come into the world? It is not known where the first angels came from. They are reborn every hundred or so years so they never die. Their bodies eventually fade or they may fall at the hands of another angel but that has yet to be seen. It takes several years for their energy to gain strength once again but it eventually comes together and the angel is "reborn". So what does this have to do with Sayden? Well the angel who's suffering caused his creation was in love with a human. But when his life was threatened she offered her life instead of his. Just seconds after she made the fatal wound in her throat with a knife, she looked on in her last minutes to see the man was shot regardless. It is said that there was no greater pain than hers as she heaved a sob with her final breath. The lost soul of the angel knew not what to do but follow her sorrow as she travelled through the separate dimension of death. Sayden then was born by the sorrow of an angel while also receiving her lost soul. Sayden therefore is made of sorrow and loss. The wish of every demon is to be released from his pain. The only way a demon can die is by the touch of the angel who created him. In Sayden's case.. there is no way that is possible for his angel is lost within him. He belongs neither in the underworld nor in heaven so he lives among every other lost soul that exists, on the surface with the humans. Fated to an eternity of searching for a release from his pain.
