I was never good at coloring in general... (although i CAN stay inbetween the lines). I was never good with different shades to create a 3D effect. (mine always end up being solid colors filling entire areas with a very "2D-esque" look to them. [curse you ms paint....])ZeroMidnight on January 15, 2012, 10:17:39 AM

Ah, if understanding the coloring effects is an issue, think of it this way: place your light source(anywhere you want, let's say, above the character) and place shadows/darker colors on the opposite side of your light source.But MS paint is quite tough to work with, it takes a lot of time to really draw anything with slight 3d effects.
