Personality: Generally pleasant, though he can have a terrible temper if provoked. Is very caring, kind and humorous. Once he picks a target, he will never stop until he achieves it. Is very determined, and will block anyone and everything until he does what needs to be done, sometimes he will not even eat or sleep until he does it.<br />

Bio: Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, he was the second son of a proud, fairly wealthy Russian family. When he was no more than 8 months old, in the December of 1987, his family was attacked by a horde of vampires, immediately burning down the house and killing his Parents and kidnapping his 4 year old brother, Konstantin Valerik Romanov. He was left in the burning house, crying helplessly, <br />
He was almost killed until a brave young man fought his way into the burning building and rescued him. Though saved, Rurik suffered severe trauma and received burns on his back. He was brought up in the care of the man until he was old enough to fend for himself. At the age of 15 he was inducted into the Russian police force, quickly climbing up the ranks and becoming on of their finest. During his 2nd year in the force, he was faced with the leader of the vampire squad that killed his family, and he was forced to relive the entire trauma that was torturing him for so long. The vampire attacked and though putting up one hell of a fight, Rurik was only human, and ended up in hospital with a high risk of death. <br />
After the ordeal, he left the police and became a Vampire hunter, on a mission to kill all vampires that stand in his way. In his venture, he comes across a vampire called “Boots”. He immediately engaged the creature in battle, and nearly killed him. Boots escaped, and whilst in a local bar, Rurik heard the name Pop up. In a corner, a few men were discussing the sighting of Boots. His real name was Konstantin. That name rang a bell to Rurik, and he now spends his time trying to find out more about this vampire.<br />
