A loyal -- fanatical, really -- bodyguard of Chaplain's, he was a bit of a streetrat that ran with a gang until he enlisted with Cobra, where his skill in the martial arts had him placed in the Ninja-Viper division where he caught the eye of Storm-Shadow, who made him his apprentice.
