Character Bio: A brilliant young doctor serving her residency of St Elizabeth’s Hospital in the suburb of Lukinswood, Karen Howard has more book smarts then street smarts and stayed behind in order to help other survivors rather then abandon them to die. A devoted Christian she is modest in dress and actions; she is rather shy and many find her timid at first meeting. Standing at 5’6” she is not a tall, imposing individual but is quick on her feet and has a keen intellect and sharp wit. She carries all her possessions in a pack on her back and keeps her medical supplies close at hand in a messenger bag that rests on her right hip so that she might help other survivors in an emergency.
