Description
Ashcroft the badger, one of my many stuffed animals, all of whom I hope to draw and post. I named him after the ghost of the knight in Shaman King, not because the two are similar to each other (they're not) but because I just like the sound of the name.
Now, speaking in non-stuffed-animal terms...
Ashcroft is perhaps the biggest badger who has ever existed. He's taller than the average adult human male, whereas most badgers do not grow longer than three feet. He is also built like a tank, with wide shoulders, muscular arms and a jaw that can easily bite through bone. Battle is what he does best, and he has the scars to show it. Two claws on his front left paw and one claw on his back right paw had to be removed after they were seriously damaged in a fight with a dog. (Stuffed animal Ashcroft fought with my best friend's Pomeranian. And won, dammit.) The scar below his chest was from an arrow released by an archer who thought Ashcroft was a wild animal.
Ashcroft is, in fact, a knight, guardian of the town, and official Keeper Of The Scarf. Like most knights, he is fierce, extremely couragous in battle, and is willing to go to great lengths to protect those he cares about. He is also quite chivalrous, and is super-polite to any lady he meets. Especially Sie, a small white cat who lives in the town. ( http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-789709.html ) He knows she doesn't love him like he loves her; after all, she's engaged. But he's a good sport about it, and he still keeps an extra watchful eye over her home, to protect her from any wild beasties that may be lurking about.
Ashcroft prefers to walk on all fours, because he finds it hard to carry his full weight on his short rear legs. If he is standing still -- say, when he is having a conversation with someone -- he likes to stand up.

Sorry, couldn't resist :P
This is interesting, but what's with his tail? Badger's don't have very long tails.
