My adopted hatchling

This is my little bug-dragon creature, who hatched from an egg which I adopted from Falconlobo. Falconlobo made the egg just for me. I would just like to say thanks, Falconlobo :)

It is supposed to look like Chicane has an exoskeleton, but I still need practice with such things.
I expect, when he matures a bit, wings will grow out of those seemingly random holes in his shoulders. And I expect he'll open his eyes when he's a bit older, too.

Notes: He has six toes on each front paw, one on each hind paw. His tail is shaped like an arrowhead. His antennae are very, very long. His jaw is hinged; he is not smiling. The marks near his eyes are not cuts, just markings that I added to make an accidental pencil stroke work with the picture.

Drawn in pencil, inked in pen, edited in Photoshop, colored in MS Paint. Never before have I used so many mediums to create a single picture.
