The newest Hedo Fi Civilian picture is this one of Butch the bull terrier. I know, I know... there must be hundreds of dogs out there named Butch. I KNOW. But, well, she's a Ty beanie baby, and they all come with their own names printed on their tags, and I've just known her as Butch for so long that I hadn't the heart to change her name. Also, I've had her since I was really young, when I used to think up names like Goldy (my goldfish, maysherestinpeace) Peggy (my pegasus) and Grape (like, anything I ever had that was purple.) So, yeeeaah, there was a time when I really didn't put much thought into the names I gave things, unlike now. But know whutt? I love her anyway, unimaginative pre-given name and all. SO THERE. Fool.
Now, speaking in non-stuffed-animal terms...
Now, she may not be the biggest citizen in the town of Hedo Fi, but Butch definitely counts among the strongest. Not that she fights often, or even enjoys fighting. She's actually very gentle, and very motherly. She's unable to have children of her own, but she has taken in many lost puppies (and even some kittens) and raised them as her own children. So, where does her strength fit into the equation...? Well, you just try messing with her kids, and then tell me she's not the most ferocious dog you've ever met. Even Ashcroft ( http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-786264.html ), who is famed for his strength, is amazed by her fighting power. (No, the two have never fought, but he has witnessed an unlucky predator or two get literally torn to pieces by guess who.)
And this is definitely NOT one of those all-brawn-and-no-brain situations. Butch is very intelligent, and very stubborn. She is not easily swayed from a decision she's made (LOL, that rhymed) and she's able to hold her own in an argument. She's very good at getting her children to obey her. Most of the time she doesn't even have to raise her voice. Most of the time.
Although Butch doesn't have a husband, siblings, or living parents, she has a very large family, due to all the children she takes in. They all refer to her as "Mother", as do some of the older civilians who have been raised by Butch as children.
