Team Velvet

Don't kill me! Until I took this quiz ( http://www.fanart-central.net/story-32864.html ), I wasn't even planning on making a fan-team! But one of the questions asked about my Sonic Heroes formation, and I didn't have one, so I made one up on the spot, and it kinda stuck in my head, so I drew this.
This is also kind of a celebration pic, because I completed Sonic Heroes, 100%. That's right: I suffered through the frustrating controls and nonsensical plot in order to get to the final boss, Metal Sonic, and kick his sorry butt. And that was fun, but entirely too easy. Try to beat Metal in any other game and you'll probably die a few times, but this Metal wasn't very hard at all. Which is strange, considering the fact that he transforms himself into a MONSTER FREAKING DRAGON. Which was, actually, really really cool.
Anyway, this is my team which I have created, named Team Velvet for no particular reason. No new characters here; there's me, Shey, the winged deer ( http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-772781.html ), Ren, the cat ( http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-758684.html ), and Ashcroft, the badger, who's grown his lost claws back. ( http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-786264.html ) Truth be told, I never in a million years would have thought that I would be drawing myself and Ren again in our Sonic forms. I left Ashcroft in his true form instead of making him look like a Sonic character, because I got the feeling that he wouldn't translate well. Also because no Sonic character walks on all fours, so I'd have to make Ashcroft walk and run on two legs, which he can't do. His legs are too short, as you can see; like a bear, he can stand up on two legs, but he can't move like that. And if you're wondering why his arms are always slightly out whenever I draw him, it's so he can keep his balance.
So, anyway, there's my team, take it or leave it.
Ren the cat - Speed
Shey the winged deer - Fly
Ashcroft the badger - Power
Team Blast - Nonsensical explosion

I'll draw more pictures of us, and I'll explain more things, such as: If Ashcroft can't run on two legs, then wouldn't the Power formation be rendered useless? and: What the hell is "Nonsensical explosion" supposed to do?
