Unfortunately I can't submit pictures as often as I did in the last year because of preparing to my final exams of May, but I'll try to upload new ones when I have some time for it.

About the car: the Alba Regia was a microcar conception made by József Horváth in 1955. The car was named after the city of Székesfehérvár, that had the name Alba Regia in the Roman times. It had aluminium body, airplane tail wheels, and was powered by Pannonia 250 cc motorbike engine.
The car was performed at the usual 1st of May parade in 1956 along with three other microcars like Úttörő, Balaton and a mildly modified Italian Isetta.
After the arrive of Trabant, the microcar project was canceled. Reportedly, the owner of the Alba Regia visited the creator in the sixties for spare parts, but after that time it probably ended in a junkyard.

For those, who would like to know more about this car and the other microcar concepts, here's a link of a site which is about the history of the Hungarian microcar project: http://www.theautochannel.com/vehicles/coll/mikro.html

WH2007That's a cool car! It looked very modern for it's time. It reminds me of Mikrus and AWZ P70 a little bit. The second prototype is even better - I love it's roof doorhandle XD

alitta2Thanks! Yeah, it really looked modern that time ;) Too bad that the production of the three models was canceled forever. Anyway, all of the models had parts from other cars or buses, for example their lights were from Ikarus 55 as I know.

alitta2Thanks! Somehow I felt you'd like it ;)
Anyway, was the final exam relatively easy from history for you? Our teacher says that will be much harder than from maths even on intermediate level.
