FSO Polonez 1500 Coupé - B day pic for WH2007

As it can be read, this pic was drawn for WH2007's birthday.

About the car: The coupé version of the FSO Polonez was first released in 1982, and only a few dozen were produced until the end of the eighties. It could be easily distinguish from the basic model due to the new design of the front, that was later adopted by the other series of Polonez (it was changed on all the models by the second facelift in 1991). Although the car was mechanically related to Fiat 125p, it was powered by 1.4 l DOHC K16 engine of Rover that could produce 80 HP. Another interesting fact is that this car was the first FSO model to feature electric ignition and fuel economiser owing to supply of pre-heated air to suction manifold.

Actually, the picture is set sometime in present days, so that Shoop da Whoop tag was not drawn in the socialist era :)

Oh, boy! What a great picture! You've drawn one of my favorite Polish car and how! The proportions are correct and it's so detailed. I love the background, there i even a hilarious shout out to shoop da whoop XD Thanks a lot, pal!
