The first page of chapter one of my comic-series Bloody Mary.

The WiSE program is an existing scientifical program that supports women in science and engineering, notably chemistry, physics and other real subjects . Many universities have latched on to this program all over the U.S., and they periodically organize conferences. 
In april, the Texas State University of San Marcos hosted a WiSE event,  so this gave me the inspiration for the story-background.
