I like the atmosphere you caught in this comics - the thrill of riding a pick-up truck under fire is just tangible here. :)

At first thought I planned that they just steal the truck without any gunshot, but I've changed my mind, because it would be just too easy for them :D
Besides, it shows how the boat of life sails by the waves of luck and unluck (wow, how poetic was I am?!) :)
