There's no need of using mature content filters here, since there's no real violence nor foul language depicted. Mentioning gang warfare isn't a reason for such filters in my opinion - kids these days play video games based on Doom, Quake and Carmageddon, where the violence appears frequently on screen; not to mention original Looney Tunes episodes are showed without parental guidance, despite Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam and Marvin the Martian keep using their firearms in combat situations a lot. ;)

Anyway, I like this panel too, wonder where will the roads lead the girls. ;)

Yes, I was thinking too if it is really needed, since some of the panels and/or pages in the whole comic do include violence and harsh language, so I just put the filters as a warning that the comic in general contain them.
But yes, maybe you're right, these kids nowadays have already seen more brutality than we did, even we have grown up on Doom, Wolfenstein 3d and Cartoon Network (to be honest, some of the cartoons contained more violence that a kid channel suppose to have, even we laughed our head off from some of them, just like Cow and Chicken, Powerpuff Girls, etc.)
