Filemon i Bonifacy

I made this for a friend of mine on dA, but I share it here as well, because why not? :D

These cats are from an old Polish cartoon called Przygody kota Filemona (The adventures of Filemon the cat), produced between 1972 and 1981. Also a movie has been made that has a length of about an hour.

It is starring Filemon, a little white cat and Bonifacy, an old and lazy black tomcat, both living on a rural farm along with other animals and their old owners.

I grew on this 1970s cartoon, pretty much as any Polish person born after 1960 and before 2000.

All I can say is that you did a great job - Filemon and Bonifacy look exactly like Marek Nejman developed them. ;)

Unfortunately this has never aired in Hungary unlike other Polish cartoons (for an unknown reason), but I got to learn about this show when my friend showed me a site where a lot of cultic shows aired on Polish TV channels are included: http://www.nostalgia.pl/kot-filemon
Of course, I have watched a few eps as well on YT due to the impression of the site, and it's really nice, even that I don't really understand what the narrator says.
