Another year is over (finally), and as usual, I submit another New Year's Eve pic.
This time I've played in mind how a drawing of mine would look like if it was done in an AI image generator, and which result would be the closest if I just type in the description of my drawing.
Since there are plenty of those AI generators nowadays, and most of them only offer the option of typing a description for free (but limited numbers of drawings by AI though), I've tried both writing a whole sentence and giving only keywords between commas.
Results were far from what I drew before, so my conception for this pic seemed to be doomed (or at least limiting it to just my own drawing), but then I've found a site, where a reference picture can be given for free, and even the similarity to the base picture can be given in percentage.
Setting it to the max similarity with keeping the contour and pose, it resulted a picture that indeed kept the same pose and contour, but the deatils looked so blurred, and the eyes were too deformed, so I had to put that level a bit lower.
Changing this to only 70%, finally I could reach the closest result comparing with my drawing, and this is what can be seen in this pic.
As you can see, the details that AI generates still asks for development, but it's astonishing how it could make some details quite well, for example Mary's hair turned out great (except the AI put a bowtie instead of a moon-shaped hair clip, but never mind).
I think it's amazing, yet quite shocking how technology has been evolved so far that it is possible to generate highly detailed pictures using AI, but as for reproducing an existing one to its very little details is still ahead.
As for the soccer ball that Mary holds under her foot refers to plenty of Football(Soccer) Tournaments that will be held in 2024, for example right in January, the two postponed cups of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and African Cup of Nations of 2023 (the earlier because of Qatar's participation in 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the latter is because of the earlier postponing of the event because adverse summer weather conditions in Ivory Coast where it will be organized).
Later on, the UEFA Euro 2024 and Copa America will be also held, so almost all the continents will have their own tournaments.
Not to mention that there will be soccer games also in the Olympic Games of 2024 as well, even if it is less prestigious than a World Cup, but still :D

Indeed, but I admit that the algorythm could at least get the pose and the basic conception.However, it was possible to set the similarity to zero, and therefore giving more freedom for the algorythm to draw just by the description, and I'm afraid that way it could have been a total mess :D

I much prefer your own version.It is more personal and you've put a lot of work, time, dedication and care into creating your fanart characters.
The AI version looks fake and clunky.
(for example, she appears to have two left feet LOL).
Generally speaking, AI cannot CREATE, it can simply replicate or mimic an artwork, by referring to a gigantic database of images, models and patterns, etc... following instructions.
This is forgery, counterfeiting, like everything else the globalists try to impose on us.
I do not care much for robots and transhumanism either.
The inanity and vacuity of standardized works that AI spits out at us do not impress me much.
I will always prefer real artists, even beginners with their flaws.
Humans first, I say!!!
