orphaned at a young age kritax spent a long time living on the streets and turned to fixing peoples broken objects to earn money to feed himself then at the age of 12 he finally found some hope when a family of jackals offered to take him in but before he could move in with them he was kidnapped and taken to the ark space station where he met kyara and shadow and was turned into a cyborg and working with kyara and shadow who also had been drastically altered but in different ways escaped the station when he arrived back on the planet he was reunited with the jackal family and eventually formed a team with their only son jake and a dragon named pyron at first the fact that he was half robot was frightening for him but after a while he got used to it and it actually comes in quite usefull when it comes to fighting and fixing or inventing things
