HER FAMILY DIED IN A FIRE
Not that I'm happy that her family died and she's left alone. Not at all. o_O I'm happy that her family didn't die in a car crash/accident (which is the most cliché death of an OC's family/parents EVER [as far as I know]) O_o
But it's so sad. It's horrible that she was left alone in the world and probably has to wonder why she only survived while the rest of her family perished. You really captured such emotions! With her tears, how her hair covers one eye, and how she's kneeling while bringing her arms close to herself, looking vulnerable. She also looks like she doesn't know what to do, filled with utter shock. And I adore how you colored Sa-chan. The colors you used, especially for her skin, really go together with the background. (: I like how you colored her hair too, hehe. You drew Sa-chan nicely as well! Since she's 9-years-old in this picture, you made her her look so innocent with her pink frilly dress and her hair tied in ponytails with pink ribbons. I feel so bad for Sa-chan! *hug*
Hmm..to me, it seems like her family threw her out of the house (or whatever building it is) first and were about to escape, but weren't able to then died, since Sa-chan doesn't seem to have any burns or scratches or owies like that. It's like she was outside of the burning building, watching in horror as her family burned to death and crying because she wasn't able to do anything.
Oh sorry! I get carried away sometimes. ^__^;;

and why she survived?
it's becouse someone saved her,she was asleep in her room when she smelled smoke. A biy came in from the window and got her out, she wanted to save them too but couldn't. Al the house down stairs was already burned. (She was sick in her room, the reason she was the only surviver is that she was sick)

Aww yay! Another great story behind the picture. (: I'm glad that boy was able to save Sa-chan, since she was sick and wouldn't have been able to save herself. It's a shame her family wasn't able to be rescued, but at least Sa-chan survived. (: I wonder who the boy is, being so brave as to save a sick girl from a burning building. Aww..are you going to write a fanfic with this story in it? It's alright if you're not. I just have questions and I wouldn't want to bother you with them, unless you'd like to hear them. ^__^;;

this boy's name is Takashi-kun, he was a real aweetie when he was a kid. But his mother's death(cancer) and his
always-drunk father led him to being such a cold hearted kid. He broke Sa-chan's heart when they were older.

Oh I like the boy's name. It's like Kakashi and Takeshi combined. Puaha. But aww..such a sad life. It reminds me of a song called Fast Car by Tracy Chapman, except the song's in the girl's point of view and the mother left the father. But yeah, it's a shame that Takashi grew cold because of his unfornate circumstances. And poor Sa-chan! *hugs again* Takashi lost a perfectly good girl, but I suppose that gives Kaiba an opportunity to mend a broken heart? :3
