My god, I finally finished... Aside from just being extremely busy and somewhat art-blocked, this is the reason I haven't posted anything lately. Took...all week, really, but it was worth it. This is actually from way, way later in The Beginning of the End (I wanted to put the dialogue from this scene in the description, but that would have been way too spoilerish, so I used the song instead. So no stealin' my ideas before I can write them out, 'kay? XD) Overall I'm very happy with it- the eyes and the hole in the tree didn't come out quite how I would've liked, but other than that I love it. I think this is the first time I've actually drawn blood well. :3
