Story Excerpt:
Scott perched on the edge of a flat on the peak – his search had finally been rewarded. Drawing his lergator-skin cloak around him tighter in an attempt to fight off the morning cold, he glanced around at his surroundings once before settling down. He was pretty high up. Very high up, actually; low billowing clouds lumbered past him as he crouched on the edge of the precipice, and yet the North peaks continued their spiraling climb up into the sky above him. He gazed up into the chill blue above, recognized that he could go no further, and then returned his attention back to the subject of his search, a small smile gracing his lips. It was him, Scott knew. He had found the Emperor.

Simple illustration, I suppose, in crayola pencils. Partially an illustration of a scene in the story 'Drift' which I'm currently writing, but it's from much later on in the story.
Also a pic I was going to use in a personal project that I hope to publish - a book of just illustrations that leads you through the planet Tsaritartion from Scott's perspective. Who knows. This would be one of the smaller, simpler pics in it, though.
